Gospel Fit
Inspiring African American Wellness.
Unifying body, mind and spirit.
Gospel Fit focuses on health and fitness information for the black Christian community. God wants a healthy diet and good exercise program to be part of our life, not the goal of life. God has great plans in store for us. Gospel Fit reminds us to connect with God in all that we do and each of us should align body, mind and spirit. After all, our bodies are the temples that house our minds and spirits. (1Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.) God loves us exactly as we are at this moment. God knows our faults, problems, shortfalls, where we’ve gone astray and done the wrong thing as well as those times we’ve stood still and done nothing. Yet, God still loves us and nothing can separate us from the love of God. (Romans 8: 35-38) Don’t think that God wants us to stay right where we are. Instead, God wants us to recognize his love and wants to empower us to do great things. First, we must take care of our temples.
