She has continued to develop her television career at MTV, HBO, Cablevision and ESPN. Joy was responsible for the production of international promos and production around such successful HBO programming as Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, Sopranos and Spike Lee’s 4 Little Girls. Joy also served as Executive Producer and Host of a women’s sports show, Sports Lessons, which ran on public access television in Long Island on the Cablevision system. Gospel Fit focus - continued

In order to do our work in the world, we must use our bodies.  Are we being good stewards of our bodies?  Within the black church, the answer is no. The three leading causes of death in the US are coronary heart disease, stroke, and cancer. For each of these conditions, African-American men and women have a higher rate of death than do white men and women.  Diabetes is also disproportionately found within the African-American community.  The risk factors of overweight, obesity and inactivity can all be reduced with a healthy eating plan and regular moderate exercise.

Remember, Matthew 6:33 - But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.  God is a God of victory and we will tackle health and fitness issues together as a community in partnership with God.
